Michelle Zadrozny, LCSW-S, EAS-C
Founder and Principal Consultant
Michelle Zadrozny is a Social Worker, social entrepreneur, creative artist, and community collaborator. She brings 20+ years of program development, community health, and innovative partnership-building expertise to her consulting practice. In 2009 Michelle launched Creating Transformational Workplaces, where she currently provides management consulting and employee assistance program development to organizations in both the non-profit and private sector, focusing on developing and implementing new initiatives to further organizational development and workplace wellness. Michelle has a particular emphasis on initiatives and services that focus on self-care through life's transitions - including managing work/life stressors, caregiving demands, and the inevitable existential angst that comes from being a thinking and caring human.
Michelle started Creating Transformational Workplaces (CTW) as a vehicle to bring together the amazing talent of like-minded social entrepreneurs working in the field of organizational development, workplace wellness/employee assistance, holistic health, and trans-personal psychology - for collaboration and mutual benefit. It is the vision of CTW to be a trusted partner to Austin-based small business and non-profits, and provide the type of high-touch, high-performance workplace resources that have previously only been available to Fortune 500 companies.
Michelle’s coaching and counseling services include job performance coaching, providing clinical processing groups and LCSW supervision for health and human services agencies, social work care management services for working care givers, and helping individuals launch effective career transitions. Michelle has a focus on identifying strengths and transferable skills, and empowering individuals to transform the way we work. Michelle's diverse previous employers and clients include H.A.N.D., Goodwill Industries of Central TX, Organizational Wellness and Learning Systems (OWLS), Alliance Work Partners, Public Knowledge, LLC, Nets to Ladders (a business process/technology innovation firm), United Way Capital Area, and Austin Travis County Integral Care. The EAP program Michelle developed for HAND, a home care agency, won Innovative Program of the Year from Leading Age Texas in 2015. Michelle has extensive community involvement in Austin at the board and council level, especially around financial sustainability and asset-building initiatives.
Michelle holds a Masters degree in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of TX at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work, and she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. Michelle is a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (LCSW-S), and she is credentialed as an EAS-C (Employee Assistance Specialist) through EAPA - the Global Employee Assistance Professional Association. Additionally, Michelle is a certified Financial Empowerment facilitator and coach, and works with individuals and couples on the emotional side of financial literacy and money management. Michelle is also the Clinical Director and Co-Owner of Plumeria Counseling Center in South Austin, where maintains a private practice.
